Quiet • matronly • Gentle
Flowers always make people better, happier, and more helpful; they are sunshine, food, and medicine to the soul. - Luther Burbank
Female Cocker Spaniel
Lemore is very quiet and almost matronly. She's always ready with a soft smile and a piece of advice - or piece of pie - for whoever needs it. She can often be found outside her home, tending her flowers and humming a soft tune. Her softness hides a strength as well as great heartbreak that she tries to keep hidden.

- She keeps mementos from the family she lost. The ring from her husband, a comic book and tattered baseball from her sons, and a plastic primrose flower from her daughter.

History
Growing up, Lemore was a rich preacher's daughter and was expected to obey their rules. Unfortunately for her parents, she was a stereotypical preacher's daughter: wild and rebellious. She spent many years getting into trouble and being brought home by the cops and her father would pay to keep everything quiet. Then she got into trouble that her father couldn't pay to hide: she was pregnant and the father was just as young and reckless as her. After hearing the news, her father forced the two of them to get married and they moved into a house her father bought them. Soon she gave birth to three beautiful pups: Laurence, Maxwell, and Primrose. Lemore left her old life behind, settling easily into motherhood and for awhile the five of them were a happy family.
All that changed the night that a crazed wolf (on the run from the law) broke into their home. He had thought the house empty - the family having turned in early but upon finding occupants, he quickly attacked. She lost her husband and pups that night and suffered severe injuries herself (the scars of which she can usually hide with her long fur and the shawl she usually wears). At the funeral, her father told her it was probably retribution for her premarital pregnancy and she promptly withdrew from everyone, isolating herself in her home for months. Although still young, she became old overnight.
It wasn't until several months later that she emerged from her home with a smile and a song to hide her pain. She quickly sold her house and most of her belongings - keeping only mementos of her family - and moved to the valley away from her father and all the pain that she had suffered in her hometown.

Her Role
Nobody really knows Lemore's story and she'd rather keep it that way. Although she is friendly, she still flinches at strangers - especially wolves. She spends much of her time tending garden and sells many of the flowers she grows. Oake and Ruth live just down the road and she loves to babysit the pup when Oake is busy - even if he sometimes scares her.
